In 2024, NOVOMATIC is once again among Austria's top 1% of employers and has received the prestigious "LEADING EMPLOYERS Austria" distinction.
The selection process for LEADING EMPLOYERS is based on a comprehensive methodology that recognises companies that demonstrably create outstanding working conditions. Instead of focusing on a single aspect, the overall work environment is assessed. Criteria such as recruitment, onboarding, workplace design, employee satisfaction, as well as initiatives for health promotion and work-life balance, are incorporated into the evaluation.
The LEADING EMPLOYERS study is the most comprehensive of its kind in Austria, regularly considering more than 250 international sources. In total, around 100,000 companies were analysed. This repeated recognition reinforces our commitment to further strengthening our role as an employer and exploring innovative ways to enhance our work environment. Best Recruiters 2023/24 – Silver Seal for NOVOMATIC
NOVOMATIC was awarded the silver seal by Best Recruiters 2023/24. The Best Recruiters Study is the largest recruitment study in the German-speaking region and annually assesses the recruitment performance of approximately 600 companies in Austria. In the 2023/24 study cycle, 326 criteria across ten categories along the candidate journey were evaluated. NOVOMATIC impressed with a strong recruitment presence, high-quality job advertisements, and a respectful applicant management approach.
The silver award as the second-best company in the Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing category confirms our continuous commitment to a modern and professional recruitment process.
Leading Employers Austria 2023 – NOVOMATIC Among the Top 1%
NOVOMATIC was awarded the "LEADING EMPLOYERS Austria 2023" distinction and ranks among the top 1% of employers in Austria.
This award is based on an independent meta-analysis of millions of data points, including employee reviews, studies conducted by independent institutions, and analyses of talent communication, corporate values, and employer reputation. In 2023/24, approximately 40,000 companies were assessed.
The seal confirms our continuous commitment to fostering a positive corporate culture and providing attractive working conditions.
Top Employer in Lower Austria 2023
NOVOMATIC was once again voted one of the best employers in Lower Austria in 2023. This is shown by the current study of the MARKET Institute, which evaluated the leading companies in the federal states of Burgenland, Lower Austria and Vienna.
The MARKET Institute regularly conducts surveys on the attractiveness of employers. Various substantive criteria are taken into account from the perspective of the population relevant to the labour market, such as working conditions, well-being and regional relevance. The best employers in the respective federal state receive the award "BEST EMPLOYER 2023" from the MARKET Institute in the overall ranking or in a content-related category.
NOVOMATIC achieved an excellent 6th place out of 200 companies in Lower Austria in the overall ranking - i.e. in the sum of all categories surveyed. This makes NOVOMATIC one of the top 10 best employers in the country.
Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung (BGF)
NOVOMATIC has again renewed the seal of approval of the Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion (BGF) for the Gumpoldskirchen site. This seal of approval award is valid for the years 2023 to 2025.
The Austrian Health Insurance Fund awards the BGF seal to companies that pay particular attention to promoting the health of their employees. The audit examines a company's health orientation and awards prizes for its achievements in promoting employee health.
The BGF seal underscores NOVOMATIC's commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of our employees.
Audit berufundfamilie (Work and Family Audit)
NOVOMATIC is committed to a family friendly working environment. It is very important to us that our employees are able to strike the right balance between their private and professional lives. We create flexible framework conditions to accommodate individual living situations.
In September 2015, we therefore took part in the “berufundfamilie” audit and were awarded the basic certificate. In February 2019, we received the full certificate. In 2021 and 2024, NOVOMATIC will once again receive the full certificate for “berufundfamilie” from the Federal Ministry for Women, Families and Youth. Furthermore, NOVOMATIC also received the additional certificate “Mobile Working”. This additional certificate is awarded to companies that have also rolled out a comprehensive home office agreement. During this audit, companies that undergo an evaluation and work on further optimizing their family friendliness are certified by the Federal Ministry for Family and Youth with a state seal of quality.
Leitbetriebe Austria (Leading Companies Austria)
In February 2023, NOVOMATIC received again the certification as a leading Austrian company from „Leitbetriebe Austria”. The group-wide sustainable business strategy, the high innovative strength and the promotion of young talents make NOVOMATIC a company with exemplary function.
In the course of a comprehensive qualification process by the independent, cross-industry excellence platform "Leitbetriebe Austria", those Austrian companies that stand out through special achievements prove themselves as leading companies. The evaluation focuses on sustainable corporate success, innovative strength and responsibility towards employees, the environment and society.
Best Employer in Lower Austria 2022
The MARKET Institute regularly conducts surveys on the attractiveness of employers and has chosen NOVOMATIC AG (Austria) as the best employer in Lower Austria for the year 2022.
A total of 5,000 people chose their winners from 420 leading companies in the industry, trade and service sectors in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. The criteria for the assessment included regional relevance as an employer, working conditions and the future fitness of the company.
